Peter A. Meshot was recently elected President of the Northern California Fraud Investigators Association.  He was elected to that position in 2005.  He will be President of that organization through 2007.

David A. McDowell recently lectured at the Northern California Fraud Investigators Association Annual Training Conference in March 2006 on the topic of Prosecution of Fraudulent Claims.  He co-presented at that conference with Michael J. Stahl, D.C.

Paula M. Shaw and David A. McDowell recently gave a presentation to Metlife Insurance Company on May 9, 2006.  The topic was First Party Bad Faith in California.

David A. McDowell is a presenter at the upcoming American National Property and Casualty Company Tenth Annual Training Conference in June 2006.  The topic will be Denying Chiropractic Care or Paying Medical Care?

The firm is scheduled to present a seminar on Suspicious Medical/Chiropractic Claims to Safeway Insurance in July 2006.

Peter A. Meshot is scheduled to present a seminar on Unisured/Underinsured Motorist Law and Bad Faith Implications to Unitrin Direct Auto Insurance in July 2006.

Peter A. Meshot gave a presentation to the 2005 annual seminar in Phoenix for the International Association of Special Investigation Units on SIU Regulations and Audits. He gave a similar presentation in January 2006 for the Central Valley membership of the Northern California Fraud Investigators Association.
