Francis J. Fleming
Francis Fleming is an associate in the Southern California branches of McDowell, Shaw, Colman & Garcia. His practice focuses primarily upon the defense of personal injury lawsuits.
Mr. Fleming began his legal career as a law clerk for the Law Offices of David M. Harney in Los Angeles. There, the firm represented plaintiffs in medical malpractice and products liability actions. As an attorney, Mr. Fleming worked as an insurance defense attorney involved for Prestholt & Ramsey in Los Angeles. He handled automobile and premises liability cases involving both first and third party cases.
In 2002, Frank moved to Northern California and joined McDowell, Shaw, Colman & Garcia. He has tried numerous personal injury cases, including medical malpractice, premises liability, automobile liability, and the Consumer Legal Remedies Act. Mr. Fleming has handled numerous arbitrations, mediations, witness depositions, expert depositions and has prepared an appellate brief and orally argued in the 4th District Court of Appeals. He also handles first party claims, including coverage opinions and examinations under oath. In 2012 Frank relocated to South Orange County with his wife Beverly, son Colin and dog Murphy.
