Phaidra M. Garcia
Phaidra Garcia is an attorney with the Walnut Creek office of the Law Offices of McDowell, Meshot & Shaw. Ms. Garcia has practiced law for over 10 years. She graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1996 receiving her J.D. Prior to that she attended San Diego State University where she graduated in 1992 with a B.A. in Psychology.
Her practice focuses primarily on the defense of personal injury lawsuits and assisting insurance companies with first party claims investigations. Ms. Garcia represents various major insurance companies in all aspects of insurance litigation and coverage.
Over the past 8 years, Ms. Garcia has successfully first-chaired several trials and has been involved in hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. She has taken several hundred depositions and examinations under oath.
Ms. Garcia is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts in the State of California and is a member of the Northern California Fraud Investigatorís Association. Ms. Garcia also provides training in the areas of first and third party claims for insurance companies in fulfilment of the Department of Insurance continuing education requirements.
